Bathing the baby

It is important not to add more than 10 or 15 cm. of water in a baby bathtub. You lay the baby semi-holding with one hand and the other handling the soap.

NEVER - EVER leave the baby in the bath alone while he is in the water since he can drown.

You should have on hand a clean towel to wrap warm and dry gently, head first because its large surface area relative to the rest of the body, promotes heat loss that can lead to hypothermia.

Regarding soap and shampoo, glycerin soap is recommended, neutral and hypoallergenic.
